Not something I lead with, but — if you ever need someone who can write the thing and show up for it, I've done that too.

That One Time
I Almost Did
a PhD.

While assisting Prof. Bijulal M V at the Centre for Migration Policy and Inclusive Governance, MG University, I was doing what project assistants do — talking to migrant workers, attending policy meetings, liaising with government officials, digging through research.

At some point, the research got good enough that we co-wrote an opinion piece. It ended up in the Economic Times. With my name on it. And my photo. In a national newspaper.
